Aqua Bubble

Aqua Bubble is a spinoff game of the original bubble shooter game except that instead of taking place in an arcade like setting it takes place under the sea, hence the name Aqua Bubble. Right now there are two versions of this game available for play and although they share the same name they do have a few different features and game flows when compared to each other. The first version is the original Aqua Bubble and it is a low resolution game with really not much to speak of in terms of graphics or anything like that, the game still takes place under water but instead of gradually lowered stream of bubbles the streams are constantly falling until you clear the level and move on to the next one.

While this may seem harder at first the game is probably even easier than the original bubble shooter because whenever your bubble does hit the matching colors the pops or explosions are much bigger and as a result you’re able to destroy more bubbles and clear up more space with less shots than you would be able to in the original version. It’s actually not all that uncommon to be able to destroy as many as 20 bubbles in a single shot while in the standard version you’d be lucky if you managed to destroy more than 5. For this reason I actually think it’s a good version for people who are just starting out or perhaps for younger children who want an easier game they can mater before they move on to the more complex versions.

Now as I stated earlier there are 2 versions available, the one I just described is the older version that is played online but then there is the newer version with much improved graphics and a game flow that’s more in line with the original bubble shooter. I guess you could call it Aqua bubble 2 but instead of being played online through flash or java the new version is actually downloaded on to your computer and from what I’ve heard will soon be available to play on things like your iphone, ipad, or any android based device. If you’re on the go and don’t have an internet connection or maybe you want to play on a mobile device that doesn’t have flash enabled then this is probably a good choice for you.

In terms of the actual game play of the newer version the only thing that has really changed is the fact that it’s under water and has better graphics, if you’ve played the original bubble shooter then chances are you’ll find it much the same. It’s good if you want a change of scene or if you want to move on and upgrade to a harder game but to be honest I don’t think it’s anything that special.
